|The Most Reverend Brian R. Marsh, Presiding Bishop
O most merciful Father, who hast blessed the labours of the husbandman in the returns of the fruits of the earth; We give thee humble and hearty thanks for this thy bounty; beseeching thee to continue thy loving-kindness to us, that our land may still yield her increase, to thy glory and our comfort; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As we celebrate our national holiday, we give thanks for all that God, in His infinite mercy and goodness, has given to us. We give thanks for the food we receive at His hands, the blessing of family and friends, and the gift of His holy church. We pray that He will continue to bless our land and assist all who are in authority to serve its people with gracious good judgment. We pray that His church will continue to serve as a blessing to all who find spiritual shelter within its welcoming family.
I bid you all safety in your travels, blessings in your celebrations, and prayers for the fullness in your lives in Christ's holy church.
